Children of the Risen

Generations of Children lived and died in unwavering faith, and still the Savior had not arrived. Fading into the dust of centuries, the origin of the Children of the Risen and Re-risen was a thing of myth and debate. yet somehow despite all the evidence to the contrary, the Children have held their faith sacred.

Now, though, the time has come. The silver skull of Lazarus has been found. Brought back to the Eastern Watchtower by the brave Child, Phaedrick, it is believe that the First Event of the Return has occurred. Now it was up to the Children to set in motion the Second Event, calling Lazarus back from beyond.

Under the Worshipful Supervision of Gormus the High, the Eldest Priest of the Children, one hundred and one healthy male Children were chosen to give a smattering of their blood to the Communal Basin, to lend power to the summoning, and provide the life essense necessary to create a new body for Lazarus.

And so it was that the Children called and their chant pierced the Veil, beckoning to their Savior. And Lazarus heard and could not help but respond. From the very air grew a body for their master, surrounding the silver skull and skeleton that had been recovered and reassembled. In a matter of moments, before their hope-filled eyes, Lazarus was reborn.

And he wasn't very happy about it....
