PHAERICK SKULLFINDER

Phaerick is one of the Children of the Risen and rerisen, and the man responsible for recovering Lazarus' silver skull from within the heart of the Deadlands.  He is a standout among the Children, with a quick mind and strong body, and is a fanatic fan of Lazarus.  He was one of Gormus' agents, who combed the land for stories about a man who has died and come back to life.  He was immensely successful, and the stories he heard about Lazarus were of heroic proportions.

Already quite a skilled individual, Phaerick pushed himself even harder after hearing the tales, for when he finally met Lazarus, he wanted to feel that he was capable of standing in the man's presence.  In Phaerick's mind, Lazarus was the epitome of all things Heroic, turning a blind eye and deaf ear to any tales that spoke badly of Lazarus (of which there are many).  His entire day is spent in the pursuit of making himself the best he can be.  His skill is great, but his experience is not.  He strives to one day be all that his idol is, and in truth, once he earns more experience and becomes more worldly and knowledgable, he may one day even eclipse Lazarus in ability.

Phaerick was assigned to accompany Lazarus on his Quest by the Children, to serve as their eyes and keep detailed notes of all events leading up to the end.  It is an assignment that he hopes to be able to live up to, and an assignment that will either kill him, or give him the knowledge and experience to be one of the greatest men of his age.
